My name is Brieonna Hester, Owner & Founder of Busy Being Social! Like many of you, 2020 was a year that got my wheels turning about what was most important to me in my life. It was a year of pause and reflection that trickled into the following 2 years for me. In 2021, I started working for a tech company as their Social Media Director. I was at the height of my career and seeming had “everything”. Yet just one year in I felt more burnt out than ever before and a voice in the back of my head that was whispering to me “you are made for more”. I had no idea how or what it meant but I knew that I wanted more out of my life and a purpose for my work. In the summer of 2022, I was laid off from that job due to a loss of funding and that was the turning point that changed everything. Since then, I've been doing some deep searching to figure out: what I love to do, what I am good at and how can I make that a living. After almost 7 years in the industry, I knew that I’m great at helping others with their social media marketing. I also love helping others/giving back, I have a HUGE passion for skincare and cruelty-free beauty, and freedom over my time is the most important goal in my life. From there Busy Being Social was born. A company that helps busy women owners and founders bring their beauty brands to life online!
