About Buttercream Clothing Canada
Eight years ago, Candice started making cakes in an effort to stay home with her new baby. From there she was inspired to make vintage-style aprons and Buttercream Aprons sprang to life. Word quickly spread that she was a talented seamstress and requests for clothing came flooding in. Buttercream Clothing was born! Candice gathered a team of local home seamstresses and sought out a factory that met her criteria of ethical, local, well-made fashion. Buttercream has come a long way from its humble beginnings at her kitchen table. What hasn't changed is her views on providing fashion that you can feel good about purchasing. Every piece is made from scratch with love and care right here in Calgary, Alberta. Candice believes in giving women in business an opportunity to shine and grow. She employs over 25 women ranging from virtual assistants to seamstresses. She also offers workshops on how to grow your small business.
