Butterflies & Hurricanes: We are a female-led highly creative and dynamic packaging design and branding studio in Prague, Czech Republic. Our core attributes are intuition, insight, inspiration, innovation, and our deep knowledge of the industry. We share a strong belief in the transformative power of design to solve problems and create a better world. Who We Design For: We design for many of the most loved and iconic brands in the Czech Republic. We love to work with forward-looking companies who want to challenge the status quo and take their brands to new heights. Our story: As founders we share a love for effective design. We were not satisfied with business practices and the progress of design in the Czech Republic since our Velvet Revolution in 1989, so we took our many years of experience in the field and started Butterflies & Hurricanes. In our country we see a need for new thinking and greater gender equality, and want to increase the public’s awareness of the power and benefits of good design. Our mission is to elevate the entire packaging design and branding industry. We have faced many challenges and have a lot more work to do to reach our goals of creating change. Our Ethical Code: 1. We do not knowingly work for brands that victimize or discriminate based on race, religion or gender, or those that disregard the health of people, animals or the planet. 2. We insist on fair play and transparency in business, and seek to increase the fairness of the pitching process 3. We win our clients over by our passion for design and our professionalism, not by manipulation or backroom deals. 4.
