We are Anne & Katrine Lindgren 🖤 In the summer 2015 we founded byLindgren. The beginning of a turbulent, wild and fun entrepreneurial adventure. ☁️ We have previously, like so many other mums, bought thermo- and rainwear as a practical must-have in our children's wardrobe. Meanwhile, we were wondering why you had to choose either the practical or the nice and neat? The functional or the fine? Because that answer might be given: You should definitely not! That idea of turning a compromise into "a both-and" was the focal point for byLindgren; simplify the children's wardrobe by making practical outerwear both fashionable and functionable at the same time. We believe that children´s natural movements and outdoor play should not be limited by being dressed nicely. Outerwear should in our opinion be multifunctional, i.e. suitable for everyday, worn for every occasion by everyone in nearly all weather. Why have several jackets when you can have all-in-one? Anchored in the strong Nordic design tradition, and with love for timeless and simple cuts, we have designed a new collection of thermo wear, rain wear and accessories for children. The colors are subdued and tone-in-tone that ensure the balanced and colour-coordinated look, which we love. Our design is differentiated between girls and boys and targeted individual ages and personalities with styles, cut and details emphasising either the chic and elegant look, the cool and classic look or ... well, your look! In order to ensure and document that high quality standards are met, our outerwear is tested by Technological Institute in Denmark. We care about quality, durability and human and ecological safety, and have a range of Oeko-Tex certified fabrics in our collection and an ecological water-repellent impregnation based on a flour free recipe.
