Byufuel is building India’s traceable UCO supply chain — turning street food waste into certified biofuels for global aviation and transport. We collect used cooking oil, digitize every drop, and move it through a transparent, fraud-proof system to refineries. This isn’t just collection — it’s infrastructure for the decarbonization era. Every city has a hidden supply chain — behind every samosa, dosa, or biryani is used cooking oil (UCO) quietly going uncollected, reused unsafely, or dumped illegally. India generates over 3 million tons of this potential biofuel feedstock each year. Most of it? Untraceable. Byufuel exists to change that. We’re building the infrastructure to collect, verify, and move UCO from kitchens to biorefineries — powering Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and biodiesel with full regulatory and carbon traceability. Our platform uses AI, mobile-first collection tools, and real-time tracking to ensure chain-of-custody across every drop of oil. What we’re solving isn’t just operational — it’s structural: • A black market built on opacity and middlemen • Lack of trust, documentation, and audit trails • Disqualified volumes that fail EU RED-III or LCFS standards • No scalable framework for ethical, verifiable UCO recovery We work directly with food businesses, city aggregators, and logistics partners to build this from the ground up. Today, we operate across over a dozen cities across regions and are scaling rapidly across Tier 1 and Tier 2 Indian cities, backed by a experienced team, local trust, and technology that works offline just as well as online.
