About C + D Community Design
We collaborate with our clients to envision the future and provide the necessary services to document and achieve their vision. Our team specializes in Land Use Planning, Coastal Management, and Landscape Design. No project is too big or too small for us to handle. Our company is based in South West Nova Scotia. We take pride in our community and aim to share our local knowledge to support and assist our clients. Our team comprises three Planners, each with their unique interests and skill-sets. We offer assistance to Municipalities in interpreting and implementing their planning strategies, as well as creating master plans and policies. We also help private developers navigate the often-tedious Development and Building Permit Application Process. South West Nova Municipalities are surrounded by the sea, which is a significant geographic feature to consider when planning, developing, and protecting the environment in our area. As a result, we have expanded our skill set to provide Coastal Management services. We want to support our local Municipalities in developing and implementing Coastal Strategies and help them find their place and voice within Provincial and Federal coastal initiatives. Lastly, we offer landscape park and private yard design. We use our in-depth knowledge of native plant species and good public and recreation space design to cater to all your landscaping needs.
