About C & S Business Services
C&S Business Services, Inc., formed in 1977, was the first temporary employment service to the Central Missouri area introducing flexible staffing to the community. C&S assumes partnership roles with clients; working in tandem with business’ resource departments to recruit, screen and manage temporary employees. There are a number of flexible staffing options – traditional short-term assignments, peak period or project staffing, on-site management programs, temporary-to-hire (hiring an employee on a “trial” basis), or direct hire to name a few. What sets C&S apart from our competition, are our Staffing Specialists. When the national average tenure for a Staffing Specialists is 3 years, the C&S Staffing Specialists have been screening, interviewing, placing and working with our clients for over 20 years each. They are certified in employment law and maintain their certification with continuing education courses. Second, all payroll and accounting functions are performed in-house so any issues or questions can be addressed immediately. Third, C&S is local and independently owned. Code of Ethics and Good Practices: One of the principal missions of C&S Business Services is to encourage high standards of ethical conduct in dealings with employees, customers, and competitors. In furtherance of that mission, C&S has adopted the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) code of ethics. Professional Practices: All C&S staff members must pass the ASA’s Employment Law for Staffing Professionals. Staffing Specialists and senior staff must also be certified by ASA as Certified Staffing Professionals - CSP and/or certified by National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS) as Certified Temporary Specialists - CTS. All certifications require continuing education courses in Human Resources and Employment Law.
