C Stuart is a family owned business that was formed as a distribution company for baby and children’s goods. In 1965 the company began design, and wholesaling of baby products. At this time all products were made in Australia. In 1972 C Stuart began to design and import baby goods. Initial sourcing was from Hong Kong and China. The product range is diverse within this category, including accessories, bed linen, shoes, underwear, outerwear, sleepwear, plastics, nappies, toys, bedding, swimwear, toweling and gift items. Merino wool outerwear and sleepwear is the latest addition to the product offering. Products are designed with the end consumer in mind. All artwork is 100% original and created exclusively for, and relevant to, our client’s requirements. C Stuart’s manufacturing partners are located in Hong Kong, China, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Thailand. C Stuart has a joint venture partnership in China where 100% Australian merino wool is sold. Quality assurance is of highest priority within the organization. Safety is paramount when specializing in infant merchandise. A key strength of the business is warehousing, distribution and delivery. The company has kept up to date with all IT and Warehousing developments. C Stuart delivers internationally for FOB business. Locally, orders are processed, picked and packed; daily, weekly and fortnightly. Delivery points vary from X dock to distribution centres and direct to store. DIFOT at all retailers is of highest priority. This is assisted by excellence in product forecasting. For replenishment customers the business forecasts and holds 12-14 weeks of stock in the warehouse. The warehouse is 40 kilometres from Melbourne CBD and is 3000sqm. Our retail partners within Australia include; David Jones, Myer, Target, Big W , Best and Less, Kmart, Aldi, Coles, Baby Bunting, Toys R Us and numerous independent and boutique retailers.
