About CAA North & East Ontario
CAA North & East Ontario (CAA NEO) provides emergency roadside assistance to Members, along with an extensive array of travel and insurance services designed to suit the individual needs, wants and expectations of its Members. As a part of the national non-profit organization, the Canadian Automobile Association, CAA NEO specifically serves Members residing in the cities of Ottawa, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and North Bay, and surrounding areas. The Federation can trace its roots back more than a century to the year 1903, when 27 motorists formed a club to help owners of what was then a new invention known as a "horseless carriage." Today, CAA is comprised of eight automotive clubs that together serve more than five million members through more than 140 offices across Canada, offering a variety of travel, insurance and automotive services, as well as Member savings. As an individual Club, CAA NEO delivers unparalleled value to our Members in a responsive and responsible manner, taking up advocacy issues and offering an array of savings options - all while supporting the objectives of both CAA and its American counterpart, the American Automobile Association (AAA).
