About Cabell County Medical Society

Since 1903, the Cabell County Medical Society has been a pro-active organization dedicated to serving our local physician community. Throughout the year, we provide a variety of both medical and non-medical programs to help our physician membership improve their practice of medicine, We promote full and frank interchange of views that elevate profession of medicine particularly in public health, scientific affairs, and legislatively. Our monthly dinner meetings feature informative and insightful speakers on relevant topics important to physicians, Dinner meetings are held at Guyan Country Club on the second Thursday of the month. The Cabell County Medical Society is an active participant in the West Virginia State Medical Association and its advocacy efforts at the Statehouse in Charleston and in Washington.
