About Cacha BANDARRA
The history of BANDARRA started in 1997, when Elber Sales, while still a business student, read a news article saying that the Brazilian Government would encourage the export of artisanal ‘cachaça' and planned on making it a national drink, such as Tequila in Mexico and Vodka in Russia. Salinas, located North of the State of Minas Gerais in Brazil, is the principal and most recognized town where the best and most famous handmade ‘cachaças’ of the world is produced. In addition, his father was born there and had already owned another famous brand many years before. For that reason, Elber Sales chose it to be the main operations and production center of the company.
