CAISA Pharma International (CPI) is one of the several companies owned by the Haji / Currimbhoy Family Group. Our Forefathers were the pioneer-Indians who migrated to Central Africa in the 1920’s to start successful business ventures across the region. Known as Zaire Pharma International since our inception in 1979, we are the first largest manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceutical products in the Democratic Republic of Congo. CPI is part of an experienced business group involved in various business ventures, with offices in Central Africa and Asia. CPI is licensed to manufacture various pharmaceutical products, which include tablets, capsules, syrups, powders and suspensions. Our company strives to meet international quality compliant standards, which are a prerequisite in today’s challenging business environment. We strive to make our presence felt strongly both in the domestic and international markets, by successfully carving out a niche for ourselves in the specialty brands category as well as supplying widely used generic products in the DRC market. We take pride in the fact that most of our products are manufactured at our facility located in Kinshasa, DRC and others are sourced from the best facilities abroad which are GMP certified, or FDA approved, or both. With Distribution centers & partners spanning across the DRC, and to the ever-expanding requisitions, we employ a well-connected and efficient supply chain to meet the needs of the clients and market standards at par. Our clientele also expands to the neighboring regions of Angola & Congo Brazzaville, where our brands are perceived as top quality and best in class.
