About Cake Creations
Cake Creations was a dream finally realized in May 2006. It is Family owned and operated by Executive Pastry Chef Yami Fernandez-Rubio. Yami earned her AA and Bachelors in Business and is a Graduate from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts (www.chefs.edu/miami/success-stories.asp). Her dream of a opening bakery began while driving home with her husband one saturday night, in 1999. Always determined to own her own business, she began baking cakes, cheesecakes and desserts for her family and friends. Her life long dream was now in it's first stages of becoming a reality. While working in her previous career, she began getting more and more orders for cakes. Her weekends were quite busy making and decorating cakes. Outgrowing her kitchen, the family decided to open a bakery, where she is now creating artistic inspiring cakes for her clients. Her love of the arts, fashion and design inspire her to create more elaborate distinctive cakes. At Cake Creations, we create memorable cakes for all your special occasions. Here are just a few occasions - Kids Birthday, Sweet 16, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Grooms, Wedding Cakes and more. We also create Naughty cakes for Bachlorette and Bachelor parties. All of our cakes are individually designed just for you. Our specialties are 1, 2 and 3 dimensional cakes. From the basics to sculpted and outrageously creative. The possiblities are endless for any design, within the limits of gravity, of course. All of our cakes are designed with your idea and our artistry. We make your dream cake, a reality. Oh and your cake will be a one of a kind, as we do not recreate our cakes. Every cake is custom made just for you.
