About California HOA Member Advocacy
The vision and inspiration for the founding of CAL HOA Member Advocacy Inc., became a reality with the recognition of the need to assist homeowners, with its primary goal of empowering member homeowners with knowledge and resources to successfully navigate their HOA communities. The foundation provides education to demystify complex HOA laws, covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs) and bylaws to fully understand their rights, responsibilities and the rules that govern their communities and will provide representation to act as a liaison between homeowners and the HOA board to resolve disputes, providing guidance and resources to resolve misunderstandings and dispute resolution. Having served on the Board of her own HOA, completed extensive training and certifications in HOA governance, with active participation in professional development and board leadership programs, we advocate as an ombudsman to provide every California HOA member homeowner with the tools to fight for their rights in dealing with every day and legal issues that may arise.
