About Calmar Pain Relief
Calmar Pain Relief Therapy (CPR-T) is a revolutionary, non-invasive, non-narcotic method for rapid treatment of severe, chronic, high-intensity oncologic, and neuropathic pain, resistant to morphine and other drugs. CPR-T treats pain through a biophysical rather a than biochemical process. During treatments pain is completely removed, regardless of pain intensity. With subsequent treatments, pain recurs with diminishing intensity until it disappears in a high percentage of cases. The cutting edge, technological medical device was developed from the research of Professor Giuseppe Marineo MD, a researcher and bioengineer, founder & manager of Delta Research & Development. Delta R&D is the medical Bioengineering Research Centre affiliated with Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy. When receiving Calmar Pain Relief Therapy (CPR-T), artificial neurons are created to non-invasively transmit to the central nervous system (CNS) information that is recognizable as ‘self’ and ‘non-pain’ through surface receptors on the skin. Compared to conventional electro-analgesia, the CPR-T principle substitutes pain information with synthetic ‘non-pain’ information, rather than blocking pain transmission as with TENS or implanted devices utilizing the Gate Control theory. The device incorporates electromedical equipment for electronic nerve stimulation, and uses the nerve fiber as a passive means to convey a message of normality to the central nervous system by a procedure defined as “Scrambling” or tricking of information, which then enables the central nervous system to modify the reflex adaptive responses. Various clinical indications that have been successfully treated include: • Neuropathic, oncologic visceral pain • Severe chronic pain that is non-responsive to pharmaceutical treatment or implanted devices, including TENS
