Since our establishment, Calmfident has committed to eradicating period poverty. More than 500 million women worldwide are experiencing "Period Poverty". More than 30% of Indian women of menstrual age, 1 in 10 girls in Africa and half of school-age girls in the UK cannot get access to menstrual hygiene products and hence suffer from dropping out of school and social stigma. Not able to afford quality sanitary napkins, low-income female tend to use sanitary products with inferior quality, or low-cost alternatives, which are less healthy. However, long-term use of unhygienic sanitary napkins may cause gynecological diseases and venereal diseases. Calmfident strives to enable women globally to be able to afford quality sanitary napkins, especially women in underdeveloped areas. We have selected sanitary napkin materials with great absorption, high breathability and comfortably fit materials that can be found in the market to meet the needs of menstruating women, for you to experience peaceful menstrual period at an affordable price. We have communicated with reputable scientists and investigated dozens of top-notch factories and material suppliers to come up with value-for-money solutions. We further promise to produce responsibly, reduce material waste and avoid unnecessary expenditure on marketing-oriented materials. We plan to partner with ministries of education, international organizations, development finance institutions, NGOs and other partners, to distribute as many sanitary napkins as possible to communities in need, with little or zero profit to us. Calmfident is also committed to launching additional sanitary products with great quality and pricing to other communities in need, such as adult diapers for elderlies in both developed and developing countries.
