About Calon Hearts Screening and Defibrillators
Calon Hearts is a life saving charity ensuring the hearts of those in the UK continue to beat. Providing Heart Screenings, Defibrillators and CPR Training as well as lobbying for mandatory heart screenings for all aged eight and above in the UK. Calon Hearts was founded 10 years ago, then Welsh Hearts, by the Award Winning Sharon Owen and in it's ten year has succeeded in placing over 26,845 Defibrilators, trained over 89,000 people in CPR and screened the hearts of more than 7,600 people in Wales. This year we are proud to be taking our NEW Mobile Heart Screening Unit (funded by Lotteri Cymru) on the road and making Heart Screenings more accessible to all.
