At CAM Tech, our shop is devoted entirely to furnishing wire electrical discharge machining services (WEDM) to our customers, or our “partners” as we refer to them as. When companies need the services of a shop with an extraordinary level of expertise in WEDM or EDM micro hold drilling, our name is on the top of the list of who to contact. What started out more than twenty years ago as a single machine, owner-operated shop has grown into a thriving business with ten high-tech WEDMs and two small hole drilling machines. We have the capacity to attain the highest level of repeatable precision, and we operate on two shifts per day to ensure we fulfill our partner’s orders in a timely fashion. Our lineup of equipment includes computer-controlled Fanuc wire EDMs capable of two-axis and four-axis operations. We can process simple 2D shapes and, with our 4-axis wire EDM services, we can generate geometrically complex, 3D parts with intricate contours and sophisticated design details. With our ability to achieve a high degree of accuracy and repeatable precision, we supply high-value parts to partners in a diversity of industries. Along with tool and die makers, plastics molding companies, and aerospace manufacturers, our clients include automotive and medical device manufacturers, producers of gears, splines, and carbide components, and manufacturers in many other markets.
