About Cambrian United FC
Cambrian United FC Established in 1965, Cambrian United FC is proud to return to its roots, embracing a rich and storied history. Having once united with a local side to form Cambrian & Clydach Vale BGC, we are thrilled to reclaim our original identity as Cambrian United FC. Now operating as a limited company, we’re guided by a newly appointed board of directors whose values are deeply aligned with the club’s vision and community-centric goals. Our Men’s First Team competes in the JD Cymru South, and we are widely recognised as a focal point for football in the Valleys. We boast a nationally affiliated academy, accredited by the Football Association of Wales (FAW), and are committed to sustaining and advancing our competitive and developmental success. Cambrian United is more than just a football club, we are a community. Our Women’s Team continues to make great strides each season, while our Disability Football Team thrives as a key part of our inclusive ethos. Most recently, we welcomed the Hotsteppers, a Women’s Walking Football team, further enriching our inclusive and diverse sporting environment. Through our close relationship with Cambrian Village Trust, our community outreach continues to grow, making us a blueprint for the future of Welsh football. Our infrastructure has recently been upgraded to match our ambition. New changing rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, and the installation of a new 3G pitch this season, and within the last few weeks, new terracing area, are just a few of the developments we've undertaken. We are also in discussions with the FAW to designate areas within our facility for social enterprise initiatives, reinforcing our role as a hub for community engagement and development. Cambrian United FC is a progressive, forward-thinking club, driven by high aspirations and a clear purpose. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to providing opportunities for all, both on and off the pitch.
