About Cambridge Dancers' Club

Cambridge Dancers' Club promotes dancing in and around Cambridge, UK. We are a non-profit organisation with 1000-1500 annual members, and the club's activities are organised by a volunteer committee of around 20-30 people. The main things we run are: dancing classes; medals tests (depending on demand); workshops; social events and competitions; demonstrations (often at CU May Balls); Cambridge University Dancesport Team (CUDT) and Cambridge University Rock 'n' Roll Team (CURnR). Teaching is provided by independent professionals rather than club members, and we are not agents (if you're looking for someone to teach a class for you, we're not the right people to ask). Our main focus is on partner dancing and we offer classes in several different dance styles. These are currently: Ballroom & Latin; DanceSport; Rock 'n' Roll; Salsa. We are a registered Cambridge University society, and around 3/4 of our members are CU students or staff. However, you don't have to be connected with the university to join. We welcome any adults from the area, including Anglia Ruskin students, local residents, and visitors.
