About Cambridge University Vegan Society
We are a bunch of eager Cambridge students trying to make a difference. Our aim is to provide a supporting network for vegans and those interested in veganism and to make the University a more vegan friendly place. Everyone is welcome at our events - whether you’re vegan, veggie, trying to reduce your meat consumption or a die-hard meat-lover! We organise regular social events for vegans and non-vegans, such as Potlucks, as well as informative events, for instance Film-Screenings or Vegan Intro Meetings. To spread the word and make a difference, we also have frequent campaigning events and are planning to work together with CU to increase vegan options. We are always looking for active members! Being an active member entails being involved with the organisation and running of events, campaigns and managing the society alongside the committee.
