Our vision is ‘to build an outstanding, progressive company with the infrastructure to deliver continuous local business growth through its people’. Oliver Thain, one of the two original founders, remains at the heart of the operation, and grew up locally and lives locally. We are an award winning business with seven unique pubs and restaurants. We have grown steadily since the purchase of The Cock at Hemingford Grey in 2001. We have five classic country pubs, and two restaurants in the centre of Cambridge, The Cambridge Chop House and Millworks. The Cock has won National Dining Pub of the Year on two occasions. However, we are so much more than just an award winning Pub and Restaurant business. Our values and culture contribute to strong career development, strong support for local community and a network of local suppliers.
