About Camp IHC
The best sleep away summer camp and retreat destination on the planet—since 1940. Welcome home. There is a place that exists in the endless mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania called Camp IHC At IHC, boys and girls ages six to sixteen get to be kids for seven weeks. The majority of the kids return as campers for ten straight summers, and even afterwards some return as counselors to share the experience with others. It’s hard to describe a typical day at IHC but we can try to summarize it. Every day, 300 boys, 300 girls, and 400 staff members try to create the ultimate kid day. It’s filled with a balance of sports, fun in the lake and pool, creative arts, and outdoor adventure. At IHC 600+ campers get to enjoy their childhood for seven weeks, ten summers, and with zero cell phones. It’s an extraordinary place filled with extraordinary people and experiences, and I truly hope you get the opportunity to experience even a portion of it one day.
