Conveniently located less than an hour from Toronto, on the southernmost bay of Lake Simcoe in Roches Point, Camp Katonim has been creating lasting memories for over 85 years. Camp Katonim provides an overnight experience for children 4 – 16 but in a day camp setting. Our programming includes extensive waterfront activities such as waterskiing, instructional swim, sailing and canoeing combined with a multitude of land sports and creative arts activities If you love working with kids then Katonim is for you! Let your imagination explore new avenues, where almost anything is possible: •Live, play, and work in the great outdoors •Make new friends — even from other countries •Learn leadership skills •Become a child’s hero Camp jobs offer invaluable skill-building, leadership, training, and enrichment opportunities that can’t be found anywhere else! Regardless of your education, camp experiences allow you to learn and develop skills that will enhance your job marketability. Corporate communities, organizations and associations recognize that experience as a camp counsellor translates into excellent management and personnel skills Staff must be turning 17 by the end of 2017 (born in 2001 or earlier) (All waterfront staff should have Bronze Cross at minimum – NLS an asset)
