About Camp St. Nicholas
Camp St. Nicholas was founded in 1948 to provide a special place for the children of families from St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Christian Cathedral in Los Angeles. In 1962, we found our permanent home, nestled in the peaceful beauty of Mount Pinos, just 85 miles north of L.A. Since officially opening in 1964, our camp has welcomed generations of campers and can host up to 210 guests at a time. Over the years, our doors have opened to non-profit organizations, schools, universities, and various community groups, offering a space to connect, reflect, and enjoy the great outdoors. Today, we continue to provide a welcoming environment for groups looking to create lasting memories in this beautiful setting.
