About Camp Tawonga
Tawonga is a youth, teen and family-serving organization offering premier Jewish residential summer camp experiences outside Yosemite National Park in addition to year-round programming in the San Francisco Bay Area. For 100 years, Tawonga has served as a leader in Jewish camping, fostering in children and families a deep connection to nature, community and Judaism within a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment. At Tawonga, children and teens have immersive experience in nature, explore joyous Judaism, build self esteem and make lifelong friendships. Tawonga serves children in age from 7-17 with program offerings ranging from 1-3 weeks throughout the summer. In addition, six Family Camp weekends are offered from May through September. Tawonga is American Camp Association accredited with a staff to camper ratio of 1:1.5.
