Campbell House Museum, located in the oldest surviving building from the Town of York, is a vibrant public space that inspires and educates visitors through its history, collections, and unique context in the heart of downtown Toronto. Built in 1822 by the Chief Justice of Upper Canada, Sir William Campbell, and his wife Lady Hannah Campbell, the house has witnessed many eras of Toronto's history. We have been operating a a museum at the corner of Queen and University since 1974.
