The Ontario Private Campground Association, operating under the name - Camping In Ontario - represents over 350 independently operated campgrounds in the Province of Ontario, Canada. Our members are an important source of employment and economic prosperity for rural communities across Ontario. The work of the association focuses on three areas: Education: We host educational sessions throughout the year both in person and virtually. Our education focuses on areas unique to our industry. Our main in-person event is our annual convention held each November. Advocacy: As a proud member of the tourism industry, we advocate to all levels of government on the benefits and challenges of our industry to municipal, provincial and federal officials. Marketing: We publish an annual magazine (60,000 copies in 2023) which features information on over 350 campgrounds located in Ontario.
