The Canadian Alliance of Women in Web 3 is a community-driven organization that aims to increase gender diversity and inclusion in the emerging field of Web 3. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment for women to learn, collaborate, and advance their careers in this field. We believe that by promoting diversity, we can foster innovation and create a more equitable and accessible Web 3 ecosystem. To achieve our goals, the Canadian Alliance of Women in Web 3 offers a range of educational and networking opportunities, including workshops, mentorship programs, and events that bring together women from across the industry. Ultimately, our mission is to empower women to become leaders in the Web 3 space and drive positive change in the industry. The CAWW3 advocates for the web3 community to take a significant role in addressing the gender disparities within Canada’s digital technology industry, hindering the country’s progress towards becoming a world leader in technology innovation. A transformation is needed in the industry, and CAWW3 believes that it is time for action. We are looking for volunteer founding members in the following sectors. – XR/VR Designers – NFT designers and market specialists – IP lawyers – Web3 marketers – Crypto and blockchain experts - AI experts The role of the founding members will be to establish the activities of the association and other subcommittees, develop our network and reach across as well as finding sponsorships.
