About Canadian Control Devices
Since 1984 the catch basin inlet control devices (ICDs) manufactured by Canadian Control Devices have been used to restrict the flow of water into storm sewers to help prevent sewer overload, or surcharging. During peak events, damages such as sewer backups, basement flooding, or foundation seepage can be avoided, and preserving sewer capacity is how. Our ICDs play a key role in regulating the flow of stormwater into the sewers by restricting the flow from catch basins when volumes exceed capacity. With no moving parts, our devices can be sized for any particular flow rate at any given head. Our most popular Frame & Sliding Plate style and Plug style devices are well suited for use in standard catch basins and manholes. Whether the long-time standard Type A, B, C, D, & F flow rates, or any other, we can supply what is called for. We welcome your inquiry if your needs are for something custom made. Please visit us online to learn more about us, how our ICDs work, and the advantages that they bring to sewer construction projects.
