ABOUT Canadian Food Truck Festivals currently produces four Food Truck Festivals: Toronto Food Truck Festival, Pickering Food Truck Festival, Burlington Food Truck Festival and Brampton Food Truck Festival. Each Festival will feature live musical performances and 30-50 Food Trucks showcasing diverse and delicious menus in beautiful green parks. Attendees are encouraged to walk around and discover the sights and sounds while enjoying a cold beverage as each festival site is fully licensed. Other major attractions include a Children’s Village and daily Food Truck Eating Challenges! Each year, the organization hosts over 250,000 people at our four festivals from across Canada. The hordes of attendees eaten over 200,000 meals and enjoyed live free musical showcases, eating challenges, a children’s midway and FREE ADMISSION. THE CAUSE SickKids Foundation has been Canadian Food Truck Festivals charitable partner since the organization’s inception in 2013. To date, more than $250,000 in donations have been raised at the festivals entrances for the hospital’s lifesaving programs. The funds raised through this event will be allocated to the Possibilities Fund, supporting the highest priority needs at SickKids. Because of the support SickKids receives from this event and community initiatives like it, important advances have been made in child health research, new life-saving medical equipment has been purchased for their clinics and operating rooms and their young patients continue to receive the best care that science, technology, and compassion have to offer – here in Toronto and around the world.
