About Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association

The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association (CHAA) is a non-profit charitable organization based in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Its mission is to acquire, restore, maintain and demonstrate the North American Harvard aircraft associated with the Royal Canadian Air Force -- as a legacy to its aviation history, and in honour of those who served. The Harvard played a pivotal role during the Second World War. Dubbed “the pilot maker”, it trained tens of thousands of young men from Canada and Allied Forces as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan and the Royal Canadian Air Force. Today, the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association provides remarkable flight experiences, allowing the public to purchase rides and fly as these young men did so many years ago. Throughout the flying season, May to November, the public is welcome to attend any of CHAA's home-base events at the Tillsonburg Regional Airport. Most are free of charge. CHAA also performs at air shows and conducts a number of fly-pasts throughout the year. As a 100% volunteer-run organization with no government assistance, CHAA welcomes all levels of volunteerism and donations.
