We acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Iyarhe Nakoda Nations, the Otipemisiwak Métis Government of the Métis Nation within Alberta District 6, and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta. At CIMA we work towards the following goals: 1. Unification and Edification of the Indian Muslims community in Canada 2. Integration of the Indian Muslims community in Canada 3. Preservation of the unique Indian Muslims culture 4. Fostering brotherhood and a sense of service towards other communities 5. Spreading the peaceful message of Islam and helping dispel Islamophobia by showcasing our unique culture 6. Create awareness about the Indian Muslims culture and heritage
