About Canadian Jats Association

The Canadian Jats Association (CJA) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering a strong sense of community and providing support to Jat/ Jaat families and individuals across Canada, particularly new immigrants. Established in 2004 and based in Mississauga, Ontario, CJA serves as a platform for professional networking, cultural exchange, and social gatherings for Indo-Canadians with roots in India. Our mission is to bring the community together through meaningful interactions, including annual gala events, social festivals like Holi and Diwali, and regular networking opportunities. With over 1000 active members, CJA helps to bridge the gap between Canada and India, promoting goodwill and cultural understanding. We work closely with local and international organizations such as the Consulate General of India in Toronto, Panorama India, and various Indo-Canadian community groups, ensuring that our members have access to resources, support, and opportunities to engage with the wider community. At CJA, we are committed to maintaining the rich traditions of the Jat/ Jaat community while fostering connections that empower our members to thrive in both their personal and professional lives.
