About Cancer Support Community Central Ohio
Cancer Support Community Central Ohio uplifts and strengthens people impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care. All programs at Cancer Support Community Central Ohio are provided at no cost. From the newly diagnosed to long-term survivors, Cancer Support Community provides support and hope for all people affected by cancer, so no one faces cancer alone. Participants - any stage, any diagnosis - choose activities and programs that research has proven t be effective in enhancing their overall health and improving their well-being and quality of life. Our programs include support groups and counseling, educational workshops, healthy cooking and nutrition classes, stress management sessions, physical activity like yoga and tai chi, and a variety of social activities to avoid isolation. All programs are currently being offered on our virtual platform through Zoom. We look forward to returning to in-person programming later in 2021. Cancer Support Community Central Ohio is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that relies exclusively on donations from individuals, foundations, corporations, and special event fundraisers such as Night of Chocolate and Charity Golf Classic.
