About Cancer Support Community Delaware
Cancer Support Community Delaware is a statewide, non-profit organization dedicated to providing psychosocial care for cancer patients, their families and caregivers. Cancer affects not only the patient, but their family, their caregivers and loved ones who surround them. That is why at Cancer Support Community Delaware; we help participants manage all aspects of the disease – physical and emotional – from diagnosis to treatment, remission and beyond. We are more than a support group, we are an outlet for inspiration, camaraderie, empowerment and knowledge that cannot be found anywhere else in Delaware. Support groups and programs are led by licensed health professionals, at no cost to the participant. We offer a wide range of programs from Yoga, Chair Yoga, T’ai Chi, Zumba and Meditation to Journaling, Poetry, Art Therapy, and specialty programs such as Bereavement and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. As a privately funded organization committed to our state, all money raised for CSCDE stays in Delaware.
