About Candy Land
As someone who has worked in the field of Marketing for over ten years, I have been privileged to have had the opportunity to arrange and manage events. I have extensive experience of organising events of varying scales with budgets of £10 per head to £100 per head (some even £1!). I have organised exhibitions, road-shows, pop-up shops, themed Christmas Parties and even weddings (to list a few)... and through each of these events my passion has grown. Whilst some of these have led to tears and the occasional breakdown - none of them have felt like work, because genuinely there is nothing I love doing more than making an event come to life and it is with this passion that Candy Land has been born. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than gluing and sticking and being surrounded by ribbon and bows at 2am to create the silliest of little details for an event; because I believe it is those details that bring an event from ordinary - to extraordinary. Candy Land is a small, one woman company - it will be grown from my kitchen table and in every spare moment I have outside of being a Mum, and working a full time job - but as long as we dream - there will be unicorns.
