About Cannaversum

Cannaversum is a european fair trade project based in Barcelona, focused on trading organic hemp products. We distribute our products to medical organisations, processing facilities, distributors and end consumers. A part of our activities is profit-orientated, the other part is considered as a non-profit platform to promote the oportunities of the hemp plant. We achieve this by keeping prices low through selling several products without profit. This is to make it attractive for processing companies and consumers to switch to ecological sustainably produced hemp products and already contribute to climate-and environmental protection while using everyday goods and lifestyle products. Hemp offers countless opportunities which appear new but in fact have been used ten-thousands of years in cultures worldwide safely and sustainably and are therefore easy to apply and without complicate changes to currently used systems. Conventionally produced goods make excessive usage of pesticides, herbicides and chemical fertilizer in cultivation of resources and use highly toxic substances as well as unfair conditions to process them to end products. These are the main reasons for our company to focus on biological, ethical produced and fair traded hemp products. We contribute a part of our profits to reforestation projects, preservation of biodiversity, conservation of threatened natural areas and for recultivation of agricultural and forestry mistakes. We feel confident that the proven ecological compatibility of the hemp plant, the soil improving qualities and the high potential to bind atmospheric CO² can lead to unexpected positive changes. We think that the plant can be a curative and easy to integrate alternative in many areas of life.
