About Canohm
Standard Radio Distributors trading as Canohm was established in January 1963 as Australian importers and distributors of televisions, radio receivers, audio equipment and accessories. Today, Canohm prides itself on sourcing and distributing a wide range of high-quality home entertainment products including A/V mounting solutions, analogue and digital radios, loudspeakers and hi-fi equipment from around the world. Canohm is the appointed Australian distributor for Vogel’s, Sangean, Minix Media Hubs, Amina Invisible Speakers, Wireworld Cables and Future Automation in addition to our home brands, EZYmount/Venturi and ErgoVida Office furniture Since 1999, our operations have been centered on our own modern office, showroom and warehouse complex located in Port Melbourne, Victoria. Representation is handled by a carefully selected group of both specialist sales agents and company employees, who are directed by our sales and marketing management staff. Seven different agency companies are engaged, in addition to company representatives putting twenty-four active field representatives directly contacting current and potential customers. Products are supplied to over 1,400 retail stores covering most of the major electrical retail chains. Accounting systems employ the latest software packages and Canohm complies with all Australian corporate governance requirements. Distribution and additional warehousing facilities is sub contracted to nationwide logistics company StarTrack Express.
