The Canterbury Rugby Football Union (CRFU) has a long and proud history since it was established as the first Union in New Zealand in 1879. In 2017 Canterbury won our 9th provincial title in the last 10 seasons and have been proven to be the dominant Premiership team during the last decade. On behalf of the 47 clubs within the region, we are responsible for the management, administration, marketing and development of rugby in the area.
