About Cape Choral Academy

The Cape Choral Academy’s main objective is to establish a creative environment for children with musical talent, living primarily in the Western Cape Province, to thrive as human beings. Our purpose is for learners to have a broad and mindful perspective of life and to develop their cognitive abilities through alternative academic excellence, mentorship, physical and mental fitness, with a focus on the highest standard of music education. We envision a scholarly community embracing a healthy lifestyle as well as their own and others’ uniqueness through mindful living, regardless of their background and cultural differences. The CCA provides a space for young minds to develop not just as musicians but also as respectable leaders of the future through developing their creative skills to become problem solvers in an ever-changing world. We want these young leaders and musicians to not only be able to use silence as a way to heal but also be able to use music in a different way, so that they can create a new ideal for the modern world while still having a clear understanding of how humanity has prevailed over time. The CCA is committed to creating a platform of diligent excellence in all spheres of life through music in a non-dogmatic and spiritual environment.
