About Capital Area Technology Association

We connect the IT community in the Capital Region by providing meaningful technology education and networking opportunities. CATA is the oldest continually operating information technology association in New York State. Our purpose continues to be to provide a forum to share information on the IT and telecom industries for senior executives. We offer members the opportunity to network with peers and to further their understanding of products and services. We hold monthly meetings on a range of technology topics. Lunch meetings usually start at 11:45; you are welcome to come at 11 to meet and mingle and network. Vendors and users are welcome to apply for membership.
