About Capital Photography Center

No matter what your skill level is, you’ll enjoy our classes and find we that we attract a great group of like-minded people. Our classes are small enough so no matter where you are with your photography or your camera, we can work with each person at their individual level. Most are limited to just 10 to 12 students which allows for plenty of individual attention and makes learning an enjoyable experience. Our instructors are truly passionate about sharing their knowledge and strive to make learning fun. You'll find classes on Photo Basics, Lightroom, Photoshop, Portraiture, Sports Photography, Studio Lighting, Flash Photography, Nature and Wildlife Photography, the Business of Photography, and many in the field shooting classes. Most are held in DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. Throughout the year, we offer several travel photography workshops to exciting locations. These are mainly in the United States but have included a few international destinations as well. We offer Private Sessions for individuals and organizations and are planned specifically for you or your group's needs. You will also find Gift Certificates in many price points and good for 2 years.
