About Capitol Child Development Center
The Capitol Child Development Center (CCDC) is a 501c3 that provides full-year full-day early care and education to children 8 weeks through 5 years of age from diverse communities in the Greater Hartford area. We were founded in 1987 as a model employer-sponsored childcare program by the Connecticut General Assembly. In the decades since, we have fostered the learning, development, and community of hundreds of children and families. CCDC is nationally accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which means we have proven to meet or exceed the highest standards that exist nationally for schools for young children.
