By removing the old glass fixed panel and old glass sliding panel, but leaving the outer good framework in its place, the CapLock system allows you to cap over existing window frames with a sleek modern design providing an instant window upgrade to your home. Your choice of new windows can be of greater density, including double glazed. The glass may be tinted if required and even thermal and/or acoustic rated at the same time. Handles also come in a range of styles and colours. The new framework will allow for a flyscreen or security screen and accommodate standard or block out blinds. At CapLock, we have designed 2 styles of windows, in various different glass thicknesses, including glazed. We have a sliding window system and we also have an awning window system, both available in various formats. We can also remove and redesign a double hung sash window and replace it with a sliding or awning window configuration. The customer now has choice. Putting CapLock’s effectiveness into practical terms, a building can obtain an extremely high (WERS) efficiency rating at half the cost, a quarter of the time, and less intrusive than the traditional method of ripping out and replacing old windows.
