About Cappelli Miles
1982 is memorable for all kinds of events: Sally Ride was announced as the world’s first female astronaut. A guy named Colin Wilson rode a surfboard 294 miles. Ozzy Osborn bit the head off a bat, and Olivia Newton-John’s “Physical” was at the top of the charts. A couple of guys in Oregon decided to start an ad agency. Because hey, they liked living in Oregon, and they were undaunted by a recession, lack of financing, and no clients. Perhaps they were just too damn enthusiastic about the power of headlines and commercials to worry about mundane concerns like rent and food. 35 years later, what they started is growing and evolving, reinvented by another generation of gung-ho idealists/pragmatists driven to create.
