About CappKind
CappKind was incorporated in 2015 when the three founders, all with large consultancy backgrounds, came together to create a new type of construction consultancy. By combining the industry’s best talent and a relentless focus on quality with cutting edge software and data analytics, there was opportunity to provide construction stakeholders with something better. We initially focused on the benefits being brought to construction and asset management by BIM technology. However, we quickly realised that our greatest strengths lay in developing our own software and digital solutions to support how we deliver more traditional project services, which remain essential to our industry. It was our diverse capability and innovative consultancy approach that helped us secure our largest appointment to date at the end of 2018 – a four-year framework as sole commercial services provider to Yorkshire Water’s capital programme. Working with this incredible client, always receptive to new ideas, provided opportunity for accelerated growth and enabled us to pioneer numerous new services. It culminated in us being named Yorkshire SME of the Year by Constructing Excellence. The continuing success of our digital services enabled us to create a new CappKind Software business unit in 2022 and launch our first SaaS product – ProjectDeck. We continue to develop our CappKind Consulting proposition too – responding to a need from our clients for skilled resources to augment their internal teams, we now provide a Flexible Resourcing service alongside our managed service offering.
