Our key point of difference is our unique heat engine, the Barton Heat Engine, which in the megawatt scale, generates up to 3x the electricity from the same (450degC+) heat source as competitors (Organic Rankine Cycle engines), which means low cost electricity. The engine is fully sustainable using air instead of precious water or harmful chemicals. Our on-site bioenergy solutions provide 24/7 heat and power, turning green waste into biochar - 'true Carbon Capture and Storage'. The biochar can be used as a soil enhancer for agribusinesses. Other heat engine applications include primary energy sources from renewables (biomass, geothermal, solar thermal), methane flare gas (waste water treatment, rubbish tips) and waste heat recovery from industrial processes.
