About Capstone Chinese Presbyterian Church

房角石华人长老教会隶属于美国长老教会，是一间由中国大陆新移民组成并以中国大陆新移民事工为主体的华人教会。 2003年7月，在原房角石华人教会实习的黄志宏弟兄临危受命，在既无资金又缺人员的情况下，接受聘任成为全职传道，带领当时的十几个弟兄姊妹开始了信仰的新旅程。教会的生存和发展，得到了圣盖博区会和阿凯迪亚长老教会的极大扶持。2008年3月，美国长老教会将房角石教会纳入新教会发展计划。同年5月25日，黄志宏长老通过考核，被按立为美国长老教会的牧师并受任为房角石华人长老教会的创会牧师。随着教会发展的空间需要，教会于2008年10月，迁至阿凯迪亚乡村长老教会，并于2009年9月被美国长老教会正式按立为该宗派历史上的第一间全中国大陆背景的华人教会。教会蒙神祝福，走过生存、稳定和成长的岁月。聚会人数从 2003年的十几个人，到2012年的上百人，月平均奉献从当初的不足$800元，到今天超过$10,000元，每年都有许多从中国大陆来的骨肉乡亲在我们当中信主受洗，这其中看到的是神丰丰富富的预备和弟兄姊妹在主恩典里的长进。诚然，这个具有鲜明中国大陆文化特色的新教会，在北美的土地上，有很长的路要走，有更多的试炼要经历，但神所开始的工，必蒙神的看顾和成就。愿有志于中国大陆事工的主内肢体，与我们携手同工，使更多“生在新社会，长在红旗下”的迷途羔羊，得耶稣基督的救恩，行新生命的道路，成为这个世代的祝福。
