About Carapace Therapy Services

Carapace Therapy is a mobile speech pathology practice operating throughout the metropolitan suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. Carapace Therapy Services was founded by Dr Xanthy Hatzigeorgiou and Rachael Vincent who work as senior speech pathologists. We wish to support individuals to reach their full potential and have specialised expertise in the areas of complex communication and complex mealtime challenges. We strongly believe that people with disabilities should have access to the right services and the best evidence based therapy, which is why we come with almost 20 years of combined experience and numerous specialised additional training in these areas. At Carapace Therapy Services we believe that individuals thrive when given a safe space to develop and grow. A ‘carapace’ is a protective covering, like a turtle’s shell! At Carapace Therapy we offer a safe and supportive environment to uncover your potential. We believe in a holistic therapy approach and work closely to support not just the individual but the entire team around them. We are able to work directly with individuals, as specialist consultants, or provide workshops and trainings.
